Character Biography: Lord Gawain Goldworthy is a mild-mannered and well-liked minor noble. He is a relatively young man, having risen to his father's position as a lord in the second season of the series, earlier than expected. However, the actual influence he has had over the island over the course of the series has not been particularly great - he remains a figure of substantial prestige and respectability, but not one who has much power in material terms.
